Federal Priority: Save USA Wind Jobs
The American Wind Energy Association is a proud member of the Save USA Wind Jobs Coalition that is fighting to extend the Production Tax Credit (PTC). By passing an extension of the PTC, Congress will save the American jobs currently in danger of being shipped overseas and help create more than 500,000 American jobs over the next 20 years. In the past, when the PTC was allowed to expire, wind installations dropped between 73 and 93%, with corresponding job losses.
Below you will find the most recent articles, news releases, and fact sheets on our campaign to extend the production tax credit and save U.S.A. wind jobs today!
